The MGU requires as much service as a Pinion Gearbox. Which is to say – almost none. The

only maintenance required is an oil-change after every 10.000km. The shifting system is

safely hidden away inside of the MGU and does not require readjustments. Furthermore,

there’s no need for expensive spare parts or replacements due to the systems construction

and design principles. It’s safe to say that this is the most reliable drivetrain any geared

bicycle can have.
